be, is, am, are, was, were, being, been.
The man is back, they are back, he was back, they were back, they have been back.
二、be动词的用法 2.1、后面接名词、形容词、地点副词或短语做补足语
1、The man is a teacher.
主系表句式 a teacher 说明主语的身份
2、Marry's new dresses are colorful.
3、My mother was in the kitchen.
in the kitchen 是表示主语的位置
此处的be动词就是连接主语和补足语的联系动词.
