2022年2月24日，原Novi/Diem团队的17名开发者和研究者组成了Aptoslabs，继续致力于推广使用Dime（fork为Aptos），并宣布将于数周内上线Aptos Devnet。
在Aptos中将采用proof-of-stake DiemBFT共识，而不是Diem的proof-of-authority共识，并采用Move语言来编写智能合约。
